Cowdray is set in lovely downland to the north east of Midhurst and has fabulous views across the Rother Valley towards Heyshott and the Downs. The course is pretty good too, but it's the countryside that is the highlight.

Like medieval warfare without the blood and guts, the charge of the polo ponies is an awesome spectacle which has to be experienced at least once.

Cowdray Polo is undeniably posh, but there's a big enough crowd for the big matches for newcomers to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves.

Easebourne Cricket Club

Easebourne have Saturday XI playing the Regional Div 1 (North) of the Hampshire League, and a Sunday team playing friendlies.

Midhurst Cricket Club

Another world class place to play cricket. Cowdray Ruins, with the sound of the polo in the field next door on a hot sunny day. Simply fantastic.

Midhurst Tennis Club has the use of 5 hard courts and a small clubhouse in June Road in the middle of the town. The club is highly inclusive and welcomes all standards of player from "Primary school children to pensioners".

Midhurst Milers

Organisers of the hugely popular Midhurst 10k road race which takes place in August each year.

The Milers also take part in cross country, marathons, adventure races and triathlons.

But they stress that you don't have to race take join in with them. Coaching is available.

There's a climbing wall on the River Site of the Midhurst Rother College and is run by a specialist climbing instruction company called High Sports.

Midhurst Gymnastics Club

Midhurst Gymnastics Club use the facilities at the Grange Centre.

The Club provides Recreational Gymnastics sessions, leading to British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards on a Thursday evening. There are also Advanced sessions held at the weekends.
